Carlos Castillo, with more than 14 years of experience, has focused his professional practice in the Tax and Corporate areas.
He currently serves as a professor of the Tax Planning Diploma, Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Chile, and in the Master's in Taxation, Faculty of Law, Universidad Mayor.
He has extensive experience in tax consulting and advisory for companies from the most diverse sectors, and in matters of tax planning and reorganizations, at national and international levels, providing consultancy in the structuring of corporate business and investments, for both natural persons, family offices, family businesses and business groups. He has led and participated in various operations, in mergers and acquisitions, project financing, divisions, capital increases, dissolutions and liquidations of companies.
His advisory services focus primarily on tax and corporate aspects, in the most diverse and complex structuring of corporate business and investments, including mergers and acquisitions, legal reports, private equity funds, investment funds, joint ventures and takeovers. Likewise, in everything related to corporate and company matters, such as corporate governance, compliance with local laws, shareholder agreements, boards of directors, ordinary and extraordinary shareholder meetings and corporate best practices.
